Today and such

This morning I helped get my youngest off to his 2nd year of preschool and then went down to Sinclair to get my books. After I saw that the line was about three and a half miles long I decided to do the books on the internet thingy (I haven't been to school in 8 years) but on the way back I took the stairs instead of the elevator, and yes I was going up the stairs!! So that part of my improvement is taken care of, next part with work I am not going to be able to get out to the gym today so I am going to do some sit ups before I have to get ready.

  1. I think that small steps (no pun intended) are the key to making changes. I have lost 13 pounds this August. Most of my changes have been getting rid of candy, snacking on junk, watching portions, and not eating in the late evening after 8pm. I have also been active, softball, basketball, walking the little guy and dog, mowing the lawn, etc.
    I like that you are trying to keep it public, I have had other friends do the same thing and it helps keep them going. I personally have been working on it for the last 9 or 10 months and started a contest against Bob and Missy the beginning of August. I didn't really get serious about it until the contest started up but it has helped me resist snacks that in between meals.
